Why do postgraduate studies
The Western Australian School of Mines was established in 1902 and throughout its long history has maintained a strong reputation for excellence in education and research in the resources sector both nationally and internationally.
Located in Kalgoorlie-Boulder - the heart of Australia's mining industry - and on the Bentley (Perth) Campus of Curtin University, postgraduate qualifications from WASM are for people who are passionate about the mining and resources industry.
The School focuses its attention on a wide range of materials in the resources sector including gold, iron ore, bauxite and alumina, oil and gas, nickel, mineral sands and diamonds.
The Kalgoorlie Campus' proximity to mining activity provides its students with an opportunity to obtain a high quality education that combines practical and theoretical elements most effectively.
